Creator Referral Terms

1. About the Program

The useLadle Creator Referral Program ("the Program") lets approved creators ("you") share a personal link to useLadle and earn a referral fee when people they refer become paying subscribers. The Program is run by Ladle LLC ("we," "our," or "us").

You join the Program when we approve your application and send you your referral link. By sharing your link, you agree to these terms. Our Terms of Service also apply to your own use of useLadle.

2. Your Link and Your Audience's Offer

Your referral link looks like useladle.com/r/yourcode. People who sign up through it get a free trial of the length shown on your link's page (30 days unless we agree otherwise), with full access and no credit card required. That is longer than our standard 14-day trial.

Your link's page shows "Recommended by" your handle and a short disclosure that you may earn a referral fee.

3. Which Sign-Ups Count

A person counts as your referral when all of the following are true:

• They open your link in a web browser.
• Within 60 days, they either start a free trial with their email on useladle.com, or subscribe through our web checkout.
• They have never had a useLadle trial or subscription with that email before.
• Your link was the first referral link they used. If someone opens more than one creator's link, the first one gets the credit.

These do not count:

• Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store.
• People who download the iPhone or Android app without first signing up on useladle.com through your link. The apps can't receive your link, so we have no way to credit you.
• People who already have, or previously had, a useLadle trial or subscription.
• You, your own accounts, or anyone signing up with your contact or payout email.
• A subscriber who pays with a different email from the one they used to start their trial, unless they reached checkout from a browser where your link was saved.

Android subscriptions are paid through our web checkout, so an Android user who first signed up through your link on the web does count.

4. Referral Fees

• You earn one fee per referred customer, ever.
• No fee is earned if the subscriber is refunded before the fee is earned, or if a monthly subscriber cancels before making 3 payments.
• The fee is set by the plan the subscriber first chooses. Switching plans later does not change it.
• We may agree different trial lengths or fees with you in writing (email counts). Those apply only to your link.

5. Payouts

We pay once a month, by PayPal, to the payout email you give us. Each payout covers the fees earned in the previous calendar month, and we aim to send it by the 15th. If no fees were earned in a month, there is no payout.

You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings. Before paying you, we may ask for a tax form (such as a W-9 for US creators or a W-8BEN for creators outside the US), and we may hold payments until we receive it. We will issue tax documents where the law requires.

If a payout fails because the PayPal email is wrong or the account can't receive payments, we will hold it until you send correct details.

6. Disclosure Is Required

US law (the FTC's Endorsement Guides) and most platforms require you to tell your audience when you may earn money from a recommendation. Every post, video, story, or page that shares your link must include a clear disclosure, for example #ad, "affiliate link", or "I earn a fee if you subscribe."

• Put the disclosure in the post itself, where people will see it before they click. A note only in your bio is not enough.
• In videos, say it out loud or show it on screen, not only in the caption.
• Use your platform's paid partnership label too where one exists.

7. How You May Promote useLadle

Please share useLadle honestly and in your own words. You agree not to:

• Describe features useLadle doesn't have, or make claims about savings, health, or results that you can't back up.
• Pretend to be useLadle or Ladle LLC, or suggest that we employ or endorse you beyond this Program.
• Send spam, or post your link in places that don't allow it.
• Run paid search ads that bid on "useLadle," "Ladle," or misspellings of them.
• Offer cash, gifts, or other rewards to people for signing up through your link.
• Post your link on coupon, deal, or cashback sites.

8. Self-Referrals and Fraud

We void any fee we reasonably believe came from self-referral, fake or duplicate accounts, automated sign-ups, stolen payment methods, or anything else that breaks these terms. We may hold a payout while we look into unusual activity, and we may remove you from the Program for it. If we have already paid a fee that turns out to be invalid, we may deduct it from future payouts.

9. Your Free Pro Account

While you are an active member of the Program, we provide you a free useLadle Pro account so you can use and show the app. It ends if you leave the Program or we end your participation. It has no cash value and can't be transferred.

10. Our Relationship

You are an independent creator, not our employee, agent, or partner in a legal sense. You are free to recommend other apps, including competitors. You may use the useLadle name and screenshots of the app to describe it accurately. Please don't alter our logo or create content that looks like it comes from us.

11. Changes and Ending the Program

We may change these terms, including trial lengths and fee amounts, by emailing you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Fees already earned are paid under the terms in place when they were earned.

You may leave the Program at any time by emailing us. We may end your participation, or end the Program entirely, at any time. When that happens, your link stops giving new sign-ups the extended trial, and we will still pay any fee earned from people who signed up through your link before it ended, once it meets the conditions in section 4.

12. Liability and Governing Law

The Program is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that you will earn any particular amount, or that every sign-up through your link will be tracked. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Program shall not exceed the referral fees you earned in the twelve months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, as set out in section 14 of our Terms of Service.
